The Jerusalem Post has retracted an article claiming Palestinians in the Gaza Strip used a doll to fake the death of a baby killed by Israeli attacks. When the mainstream Israeli media outlet made the allegation, pro-Israeli accounts quickly began to share the story, garnering tens of thousands of retweets. Despite the outlet’s half-baked apology for publishing a blatantly false story, this isn’t the first time such claims have been made.

Usually, I try to stay away from political issues because they’re, more or less, a puppet show and this site is mainly about the puppeteers behind it. In the weeks after October 7th, the Israeli government spent their time — and if you live in the US, your tax dollars — bombing hospitals, mosques, schools, refugee camps, and entire neighborhoods. Generations of families were wiped off the face of the earth. At one point, a Palestinian child was being killed every ten minutes. And through it all, one thing was made very clear: whether Donald Trump or Joe Biden is in the White House, Israel will have a blank check to commit endless atrocities.
“I am a Zionist,” then-Vice President Biden told Shalom TV in 2008. “You don’t have to be a Jew to be a Zionist.”

The open license to weaponize antisemitism against any and all critics of Israel must be revoked.
We live in a world where the actions and policies of any state are, and should be, subject to criticism. One would assume that this holds true and is to be expected, in particular when a state wages a war that kills thousands of innocent civilians and destroys hospitals, houses of worship, bakeries, and schools. Calling for a ceasefire, condemning the displacement of one million civilians, and calling out statements by that state’s politicians explicitly calling for annihilation are all what common sense calls for. Yet, there seems to be an exception.

The most recent episode of Israel’s “evidence”-saga has focused on the claim that Hamas uses Palestinian hospitals as bases, a narrative the US government has faithfully backed up.

I’d recently mentioned that although I’ve encountered a multitude of so-called “conspiracy theories” on the Internet over the years, I’ve concluded that around 90-95% of them were false or at least unsubstantiated. However, the residual 5-10% were sufficiently well-documented and important that they had served as the basis for the lengthy American Pravda series I’d produced over the last decade, now numbering many dozens of articles and totaling well over a half-million words.
Unfortunately, the vast profusion of exciting but incorrect theories can often lead people astray. Sometimes a mainstream individual is so shocked to discover the reality of one or two stories he’d always seen dismissed by the media that he loses his bearings and begins carelessly swallowing many others as well, failing to properly separate the wheat from the chaff.

On Friday the UN said that it was no longer able to continue aid deliveries into Gaza as an Israeli fuel blockade of the enclave has led to a widespread communications blackout. The World Health Organization warned that the ending of aid deliveries means the “immediate possibility of starvation” for the 2.3 million people in Gaza.

On Saturday, November 11, Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari claimed in a press conference that Israel had killed a “terrorist” who had prevented 1,000 civilians from escaping the Shifa Hospital.
The allegations made little sense. Even by the standards of Israeli propaganda, falsifying such a piece of information while providing no context and no evidence, further contributes to the deteriorating credibility of Israel in international media and image worldwide.

More than 40 Columbia University student groups have formed a coalition to demand that the school divest from Israeli apartheid.
The launch of Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) comes shortly after the administration suspended the groups Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) from campus.
