A bipartisan group of lawmakers hosted a congressional hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), formerly referred to as UFOs, on Nov. 13. Witnesses testified on the threat to national security from potential incursions into U.S. airspace while criticizing the Pentagon for shrouding many UAP documents in secrecy.

The corporate media was filled with wall to wall coverage of fights that broke out in Amsterdam this Thursday night, ignoring all the relevant content and concocting a story that presented events as an antisemitic pogrom. Western leaders lined up to condemn the alleged antisemitic attacks, which amount to a complete inversion of reality and tantamount to a hoax.

Although I’ve been reading the New York Times every morning for almost 45 years, I’ve gradually become more and more disgusted with it, and occasionally say so in my articles.
For example, back in 2016 I wrote:

Yes, the Democrats lost, but it was much bigger than that. There are other important losses that will impact future elections.
1. Lawfare proved impotent in taking out a candidate. In fact, every new iteration of lawfare dug the losing hole deeper. All of the accusations, show trials, and prosecutorial misconduct were for naught. For the cases that remain open, the next 75 days will be interesting.
2. Name-calling lost. Almost every political slur possible was thrown at now-President-elect Trump, and none of them stuck. Name-calling only works if true.

The 2024 election was truly a contest between traditional polling and betting markets; so-called nominative opinion polls cast through betting websites such as Peter Thiel-backed Polymarket. and Kalshi, where decentralized groups of individuals were able to wager on various contests in a hyper-efficient free market (notwithstanding regulators’ best efforts to limit access).

In a mad scramble to cover for President Biden calling half of the country “garbage,” White House press officials altered the official transcript, overriding official stenographers who objected to the alterations, the Associated Press reports.

Instances of censorship are growing to the point of normalization. Despite ongoing litigation and more public attention, mainstream social media has been more ferocious in recent months than ever before. Podcasters know for sure what will be instantly deleted and debate among themselves over content in gray areas. Some like Brownstone have given up on YouTube in favor of Rumble, sacrificing vast audiences if only to see their content survive to see the light of day.

Following a visit from Australia’s federal law enforcement to an employee’s home, Session, the encrypted messaging app known for its robust privacy features, has decided to relocate its operations from Australia to Switzerland. This move highlights the increasing dilemmas faced by encrypted app providers amid growing governmental demands for user data.
Session’s escalation in popularity has come with heightened scrutiny, culminating in a direct approach by law enforcement that led to its decision to operate under Switzerland’s more privacy-conducive regulations. Alex Linton, president of the newly established Session Technology Foundation (STF) which oversees the app, emphasized that this shift was crucial for maintaining the app’s core privacy principles. Despite the geographic move, Session will continue to be accessible to users in Australia….

PayPal has recently launched PayPal Ads, a new venture into the digital advertising space under the leadership of Mark Grether, a veteran from Uber and Amazon. The program raises concerns as it capitalizes on its access to extensive user transaction data, which includes data from not only PayPal itself but also Venmo and the shopping tool Honey. This approach involves analyzing the financial transactions of its 400 million active users in the US who still use the service, sparking skepticism about the ethical implications of such deep data mining for advertising purposes.
In an interview with ADWEEK, Grether boasted about the unprecedented scale of transaction data available to PayPal, which exceeds what any single retailer could accumulate. Such statements highlight the vast scope of personal financial information PayPal plans to utilize, underlying potential privacy concerns for consumers who may not fully realize how their purchasing data is being commoditized….

Google has initiated the discontinuation of support for uBlock Origin, the popular ad-tracking blocker, in Chrome. The migration to Manifest V3—a new extension framework believed to reduce the effectiveness of certain ad blockers—is the underlying cause and is seen as part of Google’s big move against ad and tracking blocks. Developer Raymond Hill highlighted this shift by sharing a screenshot depicting Chrome automatically disabling uBlock Origin due to incompatibility with the upcoming regulations.
To circumnavigate these limitations, Hill has developed uBlock Origin Lite, which conforms to the Manifest V3 guidelines, though it needs to be installed manually because, as Hill points out in a GitHub FAQ, the differences between the original and the Lite versions are too significant for an automatic update….

Update (1745ET): After journalist Chris Rufo relayed the results of an in-depth analysis proving that Kamala Harris plagiarized ‘at least a dozen’ sections of her book on crime, the NY Times scrambled into damage control mode. First, they framed it as ‘conservative notices.’
They then completely lied about Rufo’s reporting. So of course, Rufo hit back.

If the last twenty-five years have taught us anything, it’s that people who work in the government are absolutely abysmal at quantifying and managing the risks of their own ambitious schemes. Already in 2020, Dr. McCullough and I intuitively sensed that the COVID-19 mass vaccination program was a major gamble that would probably end up blowing up in the faces of the people who so aggressively pushed it.

Facebook has come under scrutiny for censoring an article by Matt Orfalea that reported on the arrest of American journalist Jeremy Loffredo in Israel. Loffredo was arrested shortly after publishing a detailed investigative report on Iranian missile strikes near significant Israeli military and intelligence locations, including an Israeli Air Force base and Mossad headquarters.

According to alternative media outlet The Grayzone, the State of Israel has arrested US citizen and Grayzone investigative reporter Jeremy Loffredo just days after he defied censors by posting a report on Iran’s ballistic missile strike, to include documenting the precise location of an apparent impact close to the headquarters of the country’s principal intelligence agency, the Mossad.

Last night’s Univision “town hall” with Kamala Harris was billed as an exciting opportunity for “undecided Latino voters” to question and evaluate the potential next President of the United States. The corporate press release from Univision advertises it explicitly as such.
But viewers at home would have been wholly unaware that this billing was false. As I discovered, having been granted the sacred opportunity to view the event from an adjacent room on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus, the carefully curated “town hall” audience was actually comprised of avowed Harris supporters.

The coverage of Israeli soldiers pushing three Palestinians off a roof in the West Bank town of Qabatiya – it’s unclear whether the men are dead or near-dead – is being barely reported by the western media, even though it was videoed from at least three different angles and a reporter from the main US news agency Associated Press witnessed it.
AP reported on this incident. Its news feed is accessed by all western establishment media, so they all know.

Elon Musk’s social media platform, X, is now clear to resume its online activities in Brazil with the settlement of one final penalty according to an announcement made last Friday by Brazil’s controversial justice official, Alexandre de Moraes. The supreme justice authority in the country, known as the Federal Supreme Court (STF), had previously sanctioned a nationwide suspension of X in late August, a decree that was sustained by a judicial panel on September 2 following X’s noncompliance with the court’s orders.
