Israel kills 139 Palestinians over the weekend

The Gaza-based Palestinian health ministry announced that 139 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since Friday, while 251 others were wounded.

Meanwhile, in the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli forces bombed the north and east of the Gaza Strip, including the Zeitoun and the Sabra neighborhoods.

In the central Gaza Strip, seven members of the Nueiri family were killed in an Israeli strike on Nuseirat refugee camp. Israeli strikes also targeted the top floor of the Nasser Hospital in Deir al-Balah, causing extensive damage to the hospital’s solar panels. More Israeli strikes were reported on the Bureij refugee camp, where strikes hit a mosque, and at the Zawaideh town.

In the southern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian civil defense announced the recovery of 73 dead bodies from the surroundings of the Nasser hospital. The bodies were buried in a mass grave by Israeli forces.

The civil defense said that the bodies were found in a mass grave around the hospital, many of them naked and some decomposing. Palestinian civil defense has been recovering dead bodies across Khan Younis for weeks since the Israeli army withdrew from the city.

Meanwhile, Israeli strikes continued on Rafah, killing 26 Palestinians in the past 24 hours.
