A drone that struck Israel’s southern port city of Eilat on Thursday – causing a large blast – originated from Syrian territory, the Israeli army said on 10 November.
The army claimed that it targeted the group behind the drone attack in Syria without specifying who was behind it.
“The Syrian regime is fully responsible for all terror activity that is carried out from Syrian territory. The IDF will respond severely to any attempt to attack the territory of the State of Israel,” an Israeli military statement read….
