Experimental Polio Vaccine Rolled Out to Hundreds of Thousands of Children in Gaza – Brenda Baletti, Ph.D. 9/5/24

Over 187,000 children under age 10 this week were vaccinated against polio in central Gaza during the first phase of a two-round polio vaccination campaign, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported.

The campaign, continuing today in southern Gaza, is set to conclude next week in northern Gaza. It will target about 640,000 children. Israel and Hamas agreed to a daily eight-hour ceasefire in the places where the vaccines are being administered, Reuters reported.

With RFK Jr’s candidacy and his recent decision to endorse President Donald Trump for 2024, RFK Jr has brought the growing rates of chronic disease into the front and center of American politics.

I believe his intention is genuinely noble, and I have much to agree with him on in terms of what is causing American’s decrease in health as evidenced by declining testosterone levels in men, lower average temperature, as well as increasing rates of autism, cancer, diabetes and many other chronic diseases. Additionally, in the wake of Covid tyranny many Americans are navigating questions that they had previously thought answered, such as the efficacy of vaccines.

A new paper in JAMA analyzes survey respondents in the US over the period of time right after the Covid pandemic started in April 2020 and through early 2024. It reveals a significant decline in trust in physicians and hospitals, dropping from 71.5% in April 2020, to 40.1% in January 2024. Lower trust levels were strongly associated with reduced likelihood of receiving COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters. Total shocker, right?

A Uruguayan soccer player has died after collapsing in the 84th minute of a match last week due to a heart-related incident.

Twenty-seven-year-old Juan Izquierdo passed away in a Brazilian hospital in São Paulo on Tuesday night after suffering what officials called a “cardiorespiratory arrest associated with his cardiac arrhythmia.”

Izquierdo, who was married with two children, was rushed to Hospital Albert Einstein last Thursday during a game between his club Nacional and São Paulo at Morumbi Stadium. The fixture was part of the Copa Libertadores tournament. Uruguay has since postponed this coming weekend’s league games….

•Many pharmaceuticals on the market are automatically given to large numbers of patients despite the harms of these medications often greatly outweighing their benefits.

•One of the worst offenders are the acid suppressing medications, and their overprescription goes hand in hand with widespread medical blindness to the critical functions of hydrochloric acid throughout the body, the symptoms of low stomach acidity (e.g., many autoimmune disorders), and the actual causes of acid reflux.

•Since the stomach needs to be able to let food in but stay closed while digesting it, its opening (the LES) is pH sensitive and will close when sufficient acid is detected. Because of this, reflux is frequently due to insufficient stomach acid (the production of which declines with age) which causes the remaining acid to leak out into the esophagus. Treating reflux by eliminating all acid causes the LES to stay open, and as a result, hooks patients on the drugs since the moment any acid comes back, it will leak out and cause heartburn.

•A chronic small leak of stomach acid can create many different issues in the ears, nose, and throat (e.g., allergies, coughs, and sinusitis).

•A variety of safe and non-invasive approaches exist to address the wide range of complications from acid reflux and dysfunctional stomach acid production.
